Time Assessment

Hi,
Sometime this week on math buddy we did a test about time, I got about 81% I am not that good at time, it always confuses me but i'm getting better. I need to work on looking at the pm and am symbol because sometimes I think it's am but it's pm. I only really get confused with the analog time I don't know why. Here is my results. Good bye.

Fast Facts Friday

Hi,
Every week on Friday we do a math test with 100 questions on it, we get 3 minutes to fill out as many as we can. My high score is 57 but someone in my class has got 100 questions correct in 3 minutes. I need to work on making sure I know what the symbol is because there is times, division, addition and subtraction and sometimes I get confused and I confuse addition for subtraction. Today we have to do another one and I hope I beat my high score. Good bye.

Math

This is all my math buddy scores from February to April my highest scores were 100% 91% and 90% and my lowest were 68% and 69%. I am really good at numbers and that's what I got 100% on I need to work on subtraction. Here are my results and what they were for.

Perception Writing

Yesterday we did perception writing the teacher gave us 4 sentences and we had to draw what we thought they would look like. Then we got a buddy and we had to write on each slide of our buddies what we thought the picture looked like.
 The sentences were. It was time to take our pedigree for a walk.

When we got to the park a scruffy dog came along.

The day was hot. The park was empty. It was quiet.

So I took the opportunity and the view from the top was incredible.

Speeches

Yesterday we presented our speeches in front of the class so the teacher could pick the 8 people who will go against the year 5's 8 people. Today she told us the 8 I was one so today I think we are saying our speeches in front of room 9's 8 and our 8 then 8 people will be chosen to say their speech in front of the school then 2 people will be chosen to go to the next speech competition. I really hope I atleast get into the next 8.

Speech

This week we have been writing our speeches for the speech competition. The speech competition is where we all say our speech in front of the school and then two people get picked to go into the rotary speech competition it used to be three but there must be more schools because now it's only two. My speech is about why we should stop oil drilling in NZ. I have only just put my speech on cards because everyone thought the competition was next week but it is actually the week after. So I have a lot of time to practice.
