Smashing Watermelons

Last Friday we made a stop motion video of Mrs Henderson chucking a watermelon on the concrete. First we had to make a storyboard of what was going to happen. In my group was Stella, Willow, Cassandra and I. Cassandra wanted to make Mrs Henderson a sausage so we did we sculpt her out of playdough and stuck toothpicks in it for arms.Then we made the watermelon we made a ball of red then wrapped it in green then we stuck the watermelon on the arms and tied string around it so we could move it up and down. We let go of the string for one second and the sausage collapsed because it wasn't strong enough so we put popsicle sticks in the middle so it was stronger it worked but the string went through the watermelon but it stopped when it hit the toothpicks and you couldn't notice it. We started taking photos one by one and you couldn't see the string. On the picture the watermelon hit the ground we ripped it in half then we made Mrs Henderson eat the watermelon then she dies. That was Stella's idea.
