Art 12/4/2016
This week we have been doing art with Miss Dixon. We are painting volcanoes. We are learning about brush techniques and how to blend the paint properly. We are using these techniques to paint the volcanoes because our topic this year is 'I te Maunga ki te moana', which means from the mountain to the sea. We are using cold colours like blue, green, brown and purple. First, we made a draft and practiced the two painting techniques then we painted our big ones. Here is my art work. It looks like a mountain because I haven't painted the lava yet.

Hi Grace,
ReplyDeleteI really like the way you told us about what you have been doing in class maybe you should swap the two last sentences around.

Hi Grace,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading this post and how you have talked about your learning.
Which maunga did you choose to paint?
I'm looking forward to seeing the finished art work.
